Words by the Sea provides timely assessment and treatment services either in a professional clinic setting and/or virtually. While individuals may self-refer, referrals from physicians, educators, and other healthcare providers are accepted.

Together with the client and family, Words by the Sea provides direct assessment and treatment services in a professional clinic setting and/or via teletherapy. We do, however, recognize this might not be the most suitable location for all clients. As such, we do offer off-site visits when available, (i.e., daycare, home, school, etc.) depending on each client’s needs.
Assessment & Treatment
Assessment & treatment can be provided in a variety of areas, inluding:
• Articulation/Phonology (speech sounds)
• Infant/Toddler Language Development
• Receptive and/or Expressive Language
• Fluency (stuttering)
• Phonological Awareness (building blocks to reading and writing)
• Voice (vocal hygiene)
• Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

As a parent Dana is extremely responsive and accommodating, I explained my work schedule and how a set schedule would be best and once one opened in convenient time for my schedule, she booked me in. I couldn’t have asked for a better more responsive speech pathologist; she gave us as parents the tools we needed to help our child succeed. Explaining how speech therapy works with words, small phrases, sentences and last is conversations. I feel extremely lucky that Dana is our speech pathologist, I really don’t know where we would be without her.
Wonderful, amazing, professional, and fun for kids! We found Dana by chance on a random mom group someone else was asking for speech pathologists’ recommendation and Dana’s name came up a lot from different people. We reached out for S Blends (snowman, star, square) within 3 sessions (1.5 hours!) we already were noticing the differences. Fast forward 6 months and Star is “star” and not “tar” they are coming naturally we still see her for minor corrections now. Dana is engaging with kids even on zoom she makes speech therapy fun like they are not learning or on a screen. She is amazing at encouraging and praising how well they are doing giving virtual high-fives.
